I just painted my homemade gap guards aluminum with the 3m professional grade rubberized undercoating. I painted them yesterday in my basement 60 65 degrees and 14 hours later they re still tacky to the touch. It is non paintable asphalt based. The can just says allow 1 hour to dry.
