I have a thr10 not the x and my brother has the blackstar.
Well the id core 20 got here today and frankly i think it s awful.
Free returns are available for the shipping address you chose.
Consider the original thr10 too as there are a wider variety of sounds in it.

The id core beam is the first blackstar product with bluetooth functionality allowing you to stream your music to the amplifier.
These amps are feature packed and sound pretty good.
I can tweak my tone accordingly a lot easier on the yamaha because it has gain master and 3 band eq while the blackstar is simplified.
Overall then the id core beam is a lot of fun and sounds pretty good.

The thr sounds better than the beam in my experience but for home practice both would do the job.
It s twice as big and gets twice as loud as the thr10 but in terms of tone the thr10 completely owns it.
